Support Indigenous Futures by becoming a monthly contributor to the O'ga P'ogeh Land Tax.

Why a monthly contribution?

All settlers and non-Native people in O’ga P’ogeh directly benefit from the ongoing colonization of Tewa lands — whether through access to water, sustenance, housing, capital, or entertainment. Paying a monthly Land Tax recognizes the ongoing nature of our relationship to Tewa lands and their people, and is a long-term commitment to wealth redistribution. Reciprocity is not achieved through a one-time interaction — it is a constant practice that acknowledges the intricate weaving of our lives. We view the Land Tax as both a tool for economic justice and simultaneously a tool for repairing relationships and building a more resilient local community that allows everyone to thrive.

There are financial perks too! Through recurring donations, we are providing local Indigenous initiatives with a consistent and reliable source of funds, as opposed to the worrisome process of wondering where the next big donation or grant will come from.

How much should I pay the Land Tax each month?

This is a cross-class project that allows people to contribute financially on a sliding scale basis. Our Land Tax Calculator below can help determine a fair portion of your income to commit to the OPLT based on class indicators and your salary/wages.
